Default VGA Port vs. DVI->VGA Connector Port

Will I see any greater performance if I use a DVI port with a VGA adapter in it? Or will it be the same/worse as just using the VGA port.

Well, you won't see a performance different, but the quality of the image should be better using a digital signal via DVI, as interference is reduced.

using a dvi port with a vga adapter will give you the exact same quality as using a vga port.

IMO there is no quality difference, That is based upon my testing an LG DVI monitor with a Viewsonic VGA monitor, the quality was the exact same if not the viewsonic was better.
