what thing you should look for when buying a new vedio card ??!

i say that u should look for those !
1-the bus(avg,pci-express)
2-the memory on the card (although it doesnt matter sometimes , but u should concider taking a look at it)
3-the price
4-the core speed

Well, it should be AGP 8X or PCI-Express. Not AVG


You need a card that works for gaming. Sometimes memory doesn't even matter. Plus make sure it's got a heatsink on it.

well basically what you look for is
1) good reviews and reputations
2) compatibility and performance to price
3) warranty
4) is it up to date. will it kick a$$, that kinda stuff

overal quality of the card, how loud the cooling is, how well it stacks up against different cards in the same price range, how fast the connection is(eg agp8x<pci x-16) can it do what you need, user reviews, price. here is a good example. compare all of these cards . you will notice in the first 2 the more expensive card outpreforms the cheaper one, but in the second set, the cheaper one outpreforms the expensive one. all cards are almost identical, pcix16 256mb 400mhz ramdac 1dvi 1 dsub
