Using laptop LCDs as a multiple display

Anyone know how to use old laptop LCDs to build a multiple display TV monitor?

Or...a place to seek out this info?

you won't be able to use a laptop as a monitor if you are planning on using the built-in VGA connection, that connection is only for output. If you are going to pull the actual LCD out of the laptop it may be possible to make it work but would require a custom connection.

LCD pull

My idea is to use old LCD displays pulled from old laptops...maybe 12 or 13" in size.

Then arrange them in a grid and have one image spread across all.
