Hello All, some of you may have read my previous posts regarding a bad BIOS flash. I did this flash on a friends PC, the friend
has just decided to buy a new CPU/MOBO, which he probably needed to do anyway. Another friend of mine is selling his MOBO+CPU with heatsink and fan, + Ram. I have yet to get the exact MOBO model number. The specs are below.
Asus MOBO (integrated audio)with a 3ghz Intel P4 CPU
1.5GBs of ram
Intel Heatsink/Fan
$175 US
He told me this is the max CPU speed the MOBO can handle, but that it can be overclocked. I'm also guessing the memory is of an older variety. I'm not up on used hardware pricing, but trying to get my friend a good value since I sort of hosed his PC. (Note: He could buy a new MOBO for $30 but decided to just go this route)
Any thoughts would be appreciated. =)
And in case anyone says to order a new BIOS chip, I can't, it's soldered to the board. (non-removable)
