Lightbulb USB Thumb Drives

So USB thumb drives have become pretty popular recently, and i got to thinking how sweet it would be if you could manage to build your own. I thought of this because i saw an add for one that was shaped like a cat, and i started thinking about how lame that was -- but how cool it would be to be able to show off ones technical skill and expertise with a hand-made usb drive.

i've done some looking around on the internet and there is no mention of anything like this, and i have no idea how it would work, or if its even remotely possible. I figured i'd just get my idea out here and see what other people think of it.

hell, i like the idea, so you'd better jump on it soon. you could make some look like lighters, matchbox cars, mini bikes, oh the list is endless.
