Default USB optical mouse prob.

Ihave a DB boeder USB optical mouse that works fine on Win 98 but not recently when i upgrade my system to Win XP.

problem:
Evrytime during Win XP start up, the mouse is not moving and i have to re-insert it on its USb port for the mouse to move.

What I did:
I re install the driver that comes with the mouse but to no avail.

I also have the same problem on other win xp machine but sometime it works fine. or should i say, it acts so weird that i get easily annoyed.

need help. thanks

did you go to the manufacturer's website and see if there were updated drivers? an unlikely solution but it worked once on a sound card :P

I had the same problem when i upgraded from win2000 to XP. I fixed it by getting fresh winxp drivers from the company's website.
Hope this helps
