No you can't. But, all you have to do with a PC that has USB 1.0 is update to Windows XP service Pack 1. Or you may be able to just download the USB2.0 Fix from Microsoft if you have ME or 98.
 
Uhh, yes, you can actually. USB 2.0 devices are fully compatible with older USB 1.0 interface, I don't know where you are getting that idea from. However, the USB 1.0 Interface will bottleneck your normal USB 2.0 transfer rate of 480mbs to 12mbs (I think).
 
Uhh.. not so sure that is true. I have neer been able to hook up my Digital Camcorder to my old PC that is USB1.0.

But, if you think you know of a way ... go for it.
 
okay, let me rephrase this. It MIGHT work but it will NOT work to full specifications if it does, unless there is hardware included in the device for USB 1.1/0... Now, if you plugging a USB 1.1/0 device into a computer with USB 2.0 should be completely backwards compatible.
