Urgent please help ASAP

i have a winrar file 4.19GB
i want to transfer it to my laptop
i only have 1GB flash drive
so how can i break this file to smaller parts so i can transfer them couple of times and make one huge file again
I know it can be done with winrar but how? or maybe some other programs

WinRAR or one DVD.

To split the file, create a RAR file and select the option from the selections.

This can actually be done with zip, also, though it will not compress it any further.
