Wink Upgrading Hard Drive on Dell Inspiron 1100

I have a Dell inspiron 1100 laptop hard drive and want to upgrade from 4200rpms/20GB to 5400 rpms/40 GB. Can I do this?
I know I can upgrade to 40GB but I don't know about the rpm's.
Thank you for any help.

Yup, you'll be just fine upgrading. Just make sure to match the interfaces.

IE, ATA 66/100/133

Its a frigging Laptop, not a Labtop!!!!
