Ive been thinking about upgrading this PC to an AMD Athlon XP, but I don't know what boards support the Athlon AND my current hardware:
the hardware I'm unsure about are:
2x AGP card - NVidia TNT2 Riva
1x PC100 SDRAM 64MB - Micron Technology
1x PC125 SDRAM 128MB - Hitashi

can anybody find a board that supports this hardware AND the Athlon XP?

I think that your best bet would be to just buy a new motherboard, processor and ram, you can probably get it all for under $250

well this isn't my personal computer, it's my dad's; upgrading the RAM doesn't sound like a bad idea for this computer though. what would it be in $aus?

i think u should go look for your self there lot of sites in australia that tell u the prices. ???U call yourself a wiz??? heres 1 site that tell u most of the prices in australia www.razorprices.com

but I would need to know what boards there are to get a price, probbably second hand for the hardware ive got. all I need to know is a type of board, then comes the price

that site only shows new boards, what I am looking for is a board that has socket A, and will support PC100/133 SDRAM and AGP2x
any board name will be nice

I know for a fact that the Shuttle AK31-A carries 4 DIMMS.
2 are for DDR and 2 are for regular SDRAM...
