updating my VGA is it necessary ?;)

Hi there,
I got a Geforce 4 Ti 4800 VGA card...right now am running NIVIDIA driver (v.66.14) ...i checked NIVIDIA's site and found that they released a new driver (v.66.93)...i read the new driver's highlights , it states that it mainly enhances (GeForce 6600, GeForce 6600 GT, and GeForce 6200 ) "not my card " ALTHOUGH that driver is listed under the Geforce category.

My Q is :

Will i get any benefit from gettin that new driver (although its not built for GF-4 Ti 4800 ) ?

well your drivers are fairly old, but still drivers offer basically new instructions for the card, optimized instructions, at the very least you should upgrade to 66.77 or try 66.81 drivers www.guru3d.com

You will notice an increase in speed with updated drivers, I know my benchmark scores went up 200 points just from updating the drivers alone.

Thanks Nubius, so u think i should only go to 66.81 ?
Well 66.81 will get old by time and i'll need to move up..wat will i do ? or should i get the new one ?
