Unshadowing?

I currently have an HP Pavilion 563w and some of my BIOS settings are "Shadowed". I figured this due to it being made my HP, and they do not want you messing around with BIOS settings, but I would like to obtain these settings, so I was wondering; how do I "Unshadow" (not sure if this is the correct term) so I can obtain all of the BIOS settings? Thanks.

Your going to have to update the BIO's or reset them I believe? Something like that, do a search, its been asked a million times.

You DEFIANTLY want to shadow your BIOS though, it loads it into RAM

Some of those shadowed items may have been programed just for that reason. Not to let user's tamper with them, then get an extra 5 million tech-support calls. Although some are just information, that can be changed else where. My RAM speed is like that, shadowed at 200mhz, so i must change my HT ratio, then my RAM speed will ajust according to that. But for brand name computers that have this, its hard to tell if you can even change those settings.
