I know what you're saying, but if that is the case, then why would people do it? It makes sense about the bottleneck, but I have seen some pretty xtreme systems at XS that have a 4:5 or a 5:4 or a 6:5 or whathave you ratios. It's a little odd. Why?

Because some people don't have TCCD chips with brainpower PCB, and their memory maxes out before their chips have had enough. Venices can handle 70MHz+ HTT increases fairly easily, and a lot of RAM will have trouble keeping up at that point and time. They'll take the memory bandwidth bottleneck and use memory dividers to keep increase their CPU speed.

Oh, ok. So to avoid that problem just get Good ram and strive for a 1:1 ratio? Makes sense.
