Hi, my power supply has one wire connector coming out of it that i don't know what it is. It's a 3 pin female connector with two wires going to the Power Supply, one is yellow and one is black. My best guess was that it is for the fan to regulate the PS fan speed. But i don't wanna guess. Does anyone know what this is really for? thanks.

Some mother boards need that extra connector to power up correctly. If you motherboard doesn't use it then you don't need it. It is there just in case someone out there needs it.

If everything is working fine then rubberband it up and get it out of your way. What type of power supply do you have??

I don't know what type of powersupply it is. It came with my case Athenatech A100. My computer boots up and everything so i guess i'll just rubberband it like you guys say.

thanks.
