Ok, I recently bought the cheap Western Digital Hard Drives from Circuit city. These are labeled as EIDE, which is just Western Digital's word for Ultra ATA 100. Well I know that Ultra ATA 133 is faster than Ultra ATA 100, and that SATA drives are supposed to be better than Ultra ATA 133 drives, but for what reason? Is there a significant performance boost going from Ultra ATA 100 to SATA 150? Also, how much faster will it be if I put the Ultra ATA 100 drives in raid 0?
