Between Cable TV, Over the Air Channels, DVDs and Blueray, online video like hulu fancast youtube and others, netflix, and many more, the area beneath my TV is getting crammed. I've had the idea for awhile to try to create an ultimate media center. Rather from hacking a game console or other hardware or starting from the ground up, how should I start my project in the most cost efficient way?
idk if this is the direction that anyone will go in, but some hardware I have include:
- PlayStation 3
- Comcast Cable
- Converter Box
- Surround Sound System
I also have some old computer parts if I want to start from the bottom up.
