Default type of ram

This is probably a stupid question, I know, but is there any way of telling the type of ram I have without actually opening up my tower?

No it's not a stupid question at all. I would download and install the program called CPU-Z . It will tell you everything you need to know about your CPU, RAM, and motherboard.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me". -John 14:6
