Default TV Tuner for GTX 260

I just recently decided I want to take advantage of my gpu's TV tuner, after I saw my roommate using his.

What components do I need to buy to use the tuner? It's a 7-pin S-video port on the card, I think.

So, do I need to buy this? - Nippon Labs 6 ft. Din4 Coaxial S-VIDEO Cable M/M Model SVHS-6MM - Cables

and/or this? - HIS S-Video to HDTV Cable Model HHDTVC4085 - Video Card Accessories

and/or one of these?

As far as I know there are no GTX 260's that come with a TV tuner built into it. If you want to have a TV tuner you will have to buy a TV tuner card separately from your main video card.

If you want to get a tuner you would probably be looking at something like this if you want a decent one. - Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1850 (updated version of 1800) MCE Kit 1128 PCI-Express x1 Interface - TV Tuners & Video Devices

Core i5 2500K - Asus P67 EVO - Gigabyte GTX 970 - 16GB DDR3 1600MHz - 250GB Samsung 840 EVO - Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Mid 2014 Retina MacBook Pro 13.3" - 2.6GHz core i5 - 16GB DDR3 1600MHz - 128GB - OS X El Capitan
Sony PS3 & PS4 500GB || iPhone 6s 64GB iOS 9

If you want to hook your PC up to your TV then you should do it through a DVI to HDMI adapter, if your TV supports it, if not then use a S-video cable. GTX 260's do not have a built in TV tuner, and never will. What you are talking about is the TV out functon.

The only thing ATi can render faster than nVidia is the BSOD

Ah. Dang. Because My roommate had to buy a TV Tuner, like the one 35g suggested, and he hooked it up to his computer. I thought that's what the gtx 260 had built into it. I guess I'll scrap the whole idea then until I decide to get a TV tuner.
