both are very good cpu's, although there aren't really any benchmarks for the turion, seeing as how it's still so new. i would say wait a bit until they become more common-place and there are some benchmarks comparing the two. then make your choice based on which you like better.

Do you think that if I buy a Turion that by the time that 64-bit becomes widespread (in a year or 2) the Turion (and the rest of my laptop) will still be fairly up-to-date? Basically, how far will technology advance considering that the RAM limit in 64-bit is 16 exabytes (4 GB*4 GB)?
