I have an Abit BP6 motherboard and I would like to upgrade the CPU to juice it up a little bit. What is the cheapest way to get the most performance out of the system. A friend told me that it might be well worth it to get a Tualatin Adapter and a cheap Tualatin CPU processor?

I read a few postings on the Tualatin Adapter that HardwareCooling is selling and it works pretty well for alot of customers. Is it worth upgrading. Here is the specs on the adapter.

well the Tualatin is either the later model Pentium 3 or one of the celerons with the same socket, This is fine if you don't want to spend too much but if you really want good performance and are not too worried about cost getting a new motherboard and CPU, preferrably Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP would be a good idea
