Trying to Run a Dedicated Server on my server and then playing it on a different PC

SO i added Windows 2000 Advance Server on one of my pIII (Which runs great), i created a dedicated server on my p3 for 1 of my games, i configured my router for my server to get listed on the game and it works since i load the game with the dedicated server is running and its listed, great, but

when i unplug my mouse,keyboard, monitor plug from my p3 to my other computer and try playing it on line its not listed.... so whats the deal here?

does the dedicated server get corrupt when i login and play online with my other computer?

never mind , turn out to be my router which was causing this problem, got it fixed tho
