Thanks I've got a perfect screenshot of the command window but it necessitates me installing and image processing program which I don't want at this moment.

Can I not just PM the PDF or a Word 2010 document to somebody who'll please assist me?

Just use paint... That guide is about the most simplified we can make it.

Print screen key
Open Paint
Paste screenshot (CTRL + V)
Save
Upload to Tinypic.com

You can not PM until you have 40 posts.

It's working for me now

@ darrylp

Your typing

fsutil behavior set disabledeletenotify 0

and the system has responded by telling you

DisableDeleteNotify =0

Your TRIM is enabled and your good to go

Thank you for all your patience and guidance.
Being 67 years old and from a non-technical background, I very much appreciate it.

That is not true with Windows 7 anymore. After the issues having the user account created during install being the Administrator in XP they went ahead and created UAC or User Account Control. Now the user is just a Power User with some Admin rights. The full blown Admin Account is hidden.

Explained in Detail.
