Default tower power led problem

Recently the power led on my tower has been blinking on and off in a regular pattern. I have checked the manual for my mobo, and there is nothing telling me that is a bios warning or problem. The pc runs fine in windows, games, and movies. Any ideas to why this is happening? I didnt do anything to modify the hardware, so i dont know why it is happening.

Thanks for any help.

Make sure that the power connector for the led on the mobo is firmly connected

Yeah that does sound strange. The only thing I can think of is that there would be something wrong with the led itself, but who knows

A self blinking led? LOL. IDK. I'll play around with the connectors and try to reset the mobo settings.

no, not that the led is supposed to blink but that it may be doing the blinking abnormally

Clear your BIOS.
