Here's one for all those hardcore hardware freaks out there...

I have been building a mini media station out of an old touch screen cash register. After trying and failing various times to run all the app's I need on the existing components ( an AMD K6 with max ram on 128mb), but have finally given up all hope.

I have decided to start again with a new PC, but would still like to salvage the touch screen. So after that lengthy intro, here is my question.

The touch screen has a connector that I have never seen before. The screen connects directly to the custom motherboard with just one cable (there is no separate power, just this one cable).

It looks like an Ethernet cable, just a really sturdy one. Does anyone have any idea what this could be, and what I would need in my new PC to utilize it.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
