Im fixing a toshiba satellite, 2410 i think. it had a bios password, so i decided to open it up and take out the battery. now, this was the first time i opened up a laptop. i found what i thought was the battery- a small disk wrapped in green plastic shrink-wrap with a two wires, red and black, running form the battery to a connector on the motherboard. i removed the battery, waited an hour, put it back in, and tried to turn the computer on. murphys law kicked in- nothing happend when i tried to turn it on. the Lithium battery is at full charge, i even had it plugged into the wall.

No lights or noise at all when you hit the power?

Retrace your steps when you opened the laptop case and double check that all the connections are tight...
