Questions About HDD, PSU, and CD/DVD Drive

OK, I have almost got this worked out, and I know I have posted about this before, so I'm sorry to bring it up again...

Q1) Will a 500 Watt PSU have enough power for Nforece 4 SLI with two 6800 GT's, with about 4 hard drives, 2 gigs of RAM, AMD 55FX CPU, about 11 fans, and 2 CD/DVD RW drives?

Q2) RAID, is RAID 0 worth the performance gain? Does RAID 1 slow performance? Can I have RAID 1 for two drives, and RAID 0 for 2 other SATA drives (RAID 1 for Windows XP so I don't lose all that; RAID 0 for the big hard drives that are only 7200 RPM.) With two 250 GB HDDs in RAID 0 with I have 500 gigs of space, or will it only be 250?

Q3) Does anyone know about when the next Plextor 16X DVD+-RW will be available?

Q4) When the subject is the features of a PSU, what is PFC?

1) I would look higher for all of that with higher rails on the psu. Antec has very good quality 550w, 600w, and higher psu.

2) It was discussed earlier that a raptor drive would be more benefitical than raid when looking for speed. Why do you want raid? Do you want one large drive or data security?

3) I have no idea, i kinda want one for my self.

4) never heard of that.
