w/e im not gona argue cuz i can see its not gona change ur mind, plus u do have a point about ur AGP, so in that case i would simply wait till u get a new pc, cuz upgrading from a 3400 to a bit better in future to simply get pci-e is useless in my opinion.

I would get the 7700-Cu. Check my sig for stats.
Gets 21C idle and 28C load with Arctic Silver 5 and that's a winchester core. Venice would be even cooler I'm sure.

Anyway it's silent, even when I crank it up to full blast I can't hear it a foot away and it cools great and it's cheap.

If that's too big this is almost as good.

I realize that Skt. 754 is no longer being produced, I'm not some total n00b. I have stated my position on this issue in this thread. In a nutshell, I believe it is more economical for me to get a Skt. 754 CPU than 939.

Why do you miss PCI-E?

If I want a new video card, I have to upgrade EVERYTHING. AGP is dead after this generation (which has come to an end).
