thermal paste, or pad?

i was just looking at the last vid titled "thermal pad, or paste?" --> Link now if that is true... doesnt that mean u shouldnt use Arctic Silver 5 for long turm use?(especially if u leave your comp on 24/7).

please im looking fora a seriouse answer, no spammers(u know who u r)

As I have heard it, if you are installing a CPU for the first time and don't intend to OC it you should use the thermal pad that comes with...... But if you intend to OC the heck out of it, or you have take off the CPU and are reinstalling it, you shouldn't try to reuse the pad and instead use paste

Otherwise I have never heard anything about using paste if you leave your PC on 24/7
