Default are there 50 and up monitors?

I was thinking instead of buying a tv I wanted to buy a 50-55" monitor and have it hooked up to HTPC

I really hate the data collection on all these smart devices and been trying to eliminate all that bs.
but I see the biggest monitor is 38" from LG

or is there bigger ones available?

im looking for 4K resolution also not 1080p

that way I can have the bluray player and media server all in one from HTPC without hving to buy new player every time new format comes out

Large form factor displays still exist, but they're slowly going the way of the dodo.

My old 50 inch Plasma finally died (18 years old) - so I am looking as well. I did find this Dell (4K with 8 ms lag) : https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop...04743972813688

That all depends on the panels in question really.

LG TV's have a "game mode" which disable all post-processing on the TV. I have a 43" cheapo I use as a monitor. I think it was like $250. It's wonderful.

if LG made a 40" OLED with the "Game Mode" setting I'd snatch one up in a heart beat.
