TFT or CRT?

cool, i didnt know that... but i already had bad eyesite b4 i ever used a comp regularly... and know i think stairing at the CRT has made the degridation of my eyesite hault(prolly just ginetix though). lol. but if i didnt use glassess i would definatly take ur advice.

it's only the old CRT's that used to burn in, the modern ones will not do so. I've left my CRT monitor on for days with the same image (no screen saver) and it had no effect

do u have more details, or a link to an article about that? and it takes more then a few days to burn a monitors pixels.

i wouldnt believe that without details. i mean a CRT is stil a CRT

just had a look, here
looks like you're right that CRT's still do burn in, but apparently so do plasma's

yea i mentioned that earlyer.. Plasma is different from LCD though. LCD's get no burn in.
