Default Temps?

Is there a way to check CPU and motherboard temperatures without going into BIOS? I downloaded SiSoftware Sandra Lite 2005, but I can't find it there.

You can use that program, but I use Everest. Here is a link:

Thank you, I really like that Everest program. What is the difference between "CPU" temperature and "CPU Diode" temperature?

Does BIOS take an average of the CPU temp and CPU Diode temp? I ask because my BIOS reading is right in the middle of the Everest CPU and CPU Diode reading.

I'm not entireley sure, I don't have a diode temperature reading, only CPU, hard drive, and motherboard as far as I can see. You'd have to find out exactly what the diode temperature was referring to.
