I want to see how hot my Pent 3 is running but i have no idea how to check that. This intel North Bridge Whitney i810E is older then hell is there anything i can download or do i have to buy some temp monitoring just wondering?

er.. check the intel site for that one. Im not too sure.

anything universal that you download for that stuff is guaranteed to be messed up and give the wrong readings.

ok but if lets say you buy a top of the line mobo most of them come with the temp reading in the bios right?

I have a P3 933mhz chip running on a ECS P6ISA-II motherboard, it's a great motherboard, a few things I don't like about it, but it is still a nice motherboard, and yes.......it does have the "temp reading" in the BIOS. Just look at the manufacturers specs and it should say whether it does or not....
