tell me some LCD tips!

hey im planning to get a new LCD and I need some tips. I have no clue with the LCD specs and I hope you can help me out.

Is it better with...
dot pitch (higher or lower)?
Brittness (higher or lower)?
Contrast ratio (higher or lower)?
response time (higher or lower) ?


these 4 thing are something I'm concerned with. Thanks if you can help.

Make sure you get a super-low response time, like say...15ms. Cheap LCDs are terrible for gaming. Unless you are willing to go all out and spend a fortune on a gaming LCD, stick with a good NEC 19" or 21" CRT.

Yah beedubaya said it right. Cheap lcds seen like a great deal. But for gaming just start with a crt they are still cheaper then when you get the cash buy a good nec or viewsonic.

LCD with a low response time, dot pitch around .26, dont know about the other things
