Talking Technologies

Hey guys. Thanks in advance for your help, I just need to know:

What are the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies?

I went to a shop yesterday and was offered these options on my combination radio/television, and need to know the advantages and disadvantages before i make my purchase

They are all free-broadcast stations for radio's & TV's.... AM & FM are radio, UHF & VHF are TV signals....

Are you seriously not familiar with AM & FM?

EDIT: After seeing your other posts, I am thinking that you are seeking help with homework..... You ask about AM, FM, UHF, VHF, yet mention nothing about size of tv you are looking for, types and number of inputs/outputs.... You should just mention in your post that you are needing help with homework...

There is no way someone would go through this much trouble to get info about a 5" B/W tv/radio combo.... /EDIT
