E-MU 1820M for sound.
Klipsch 4.2 for sound, just because there is two subwoofers.
If not speakers then, Alessandro Pro headphones.

I say lose the SCSI RAID 0 drives. If you want RAID go for SATA. As for the RAID, well If you want the ultimate in redundancy go for RAID 5.

4 gigs is plenty no less for a dream system

I know someone close to that:
3.95 ghz (OC p4)
4 gigs 533 mhz ddr2
2xoc sli 6800 ultras
2x500 gig hard drives

54 meg internet (12 meg download speed)\

No offense but the above PC is weaksauce

4 gig of ram wont overclock well at all, and DDR will outpeform DDRII

I have seen a pair of 6600GT's beat his SLI'ED Ultra's

20 74gig raptors
4 water cooling setups

this would be the ultimate workstation comp
cost bout a million bucks though lol

so about 30,000
