Question System wont boot

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, and wish i would have a better way to introduce myself. I recently added 512 ram pc3200 to my system, and when I tried to reboot my system i got nothing as if I did not turn the computer on...The power light and HD light stay on without even blinking as well as the DVD and CD beeps nothing, obviously no bios. I replaced my power supply its working fine... I read the sticky on troubleshooting, but I am almost sure it is my hard drive. If any one could help me out it would be greatly appreciated...If someone suggests running on just motherboard, graphic card, ram, and keyboard i will do it, i just dont want to go throught it(after 5 hours already) if there is some was to know it is the HD for sure.
