I've got two IDE harddrives and 300 watt power supply.

Now my system sometimes(once twice a day) just hangs up. Nothing works and the HD indicators are not on. At first I though this could due to a messed up power supply, but it seems fine. What I did notice was that the HDs were recognised by the PC (as if they didn't exist). So I decided to check how well the power cables and IDE cables are connected to the HD themselves. After a quick reffiting of all cables the system botted up once more. However, the thing is, usually (after one of these hangups) the system does see the HDs but does not boot from them....
Any ideas what going on?
P.S. Is testes the Seagate drive on with Seagate's Diskwizard software, everything is fine.
