I actually had one donated to me. I can't think of the brand name for the life of me (it's back at my parents place). I used it a couple of times and was pretty surprised at the speed of them. I thought it was going to go at the same speed as... well a cassette tape . Boy was I wrong they fly!

For businesses, especially large ones, backing up on tape is way cheaper than anything else.

Sure some tape drives can be pretty expensive, but that is only a one time cost. After that is just a matter of what software you want and the tapes(which are cheap).
