Default subwoofer pc relation

I purchased the logitech z5500 speaker system which came with a warning to place my subwoofer at least two feet away from other electronics. So I placed mine 2.5 feet away from my pc. Is that far enough or should this really concern me?

they say this becase of the larger/more powerfull magnets on subwoffers dont mix well with harddrives/monitors. i have a powerfull spl car audio subwoffer. that distorts my monitor if i get within 6-8feet with it

I understand that, but should I be worried by only 2.5 feet? My monitor is 3 feet away, but my cpu will be only 2.5 feet. Should I seriously consider moving it farther away?
