Stupid wireless mouse question.

I have a wireless mouse by Logitech. I could have sworn the other day I saw you could buy new usb receivers if you lose your's.

My buddy and I have identical Logitech mice, but they only work with their exact corresponding usb receiver.

So - question. If I lose my usb receiver and get a new one, how do I re-program it to work with my mouse?

It's not an actual problem I have.... it was just one of those stupid thoughts that comes to mind as I'm about to order what kind of sub I want for lunch and BLAM a logitech question pops into mind...

Totally one of those wtf moments, but nonetheless I'm curious enough to ask here and see if anybody has an answer.
