Ok I just got done building my new system. My case only came with one fane (it is in the middle of the side pannel that slides off). I am oc my cpu so I ordered a couple more fans. I was not sure what size fan would fit on the bottom of the front pannel of my case(where the power button is) so I was looking in the book my case came with. It listed some fans as "in" and some as "out".

My question is this....The on fan my case came with was an "out", it is faced so the sticker on the front of the fan is facing out...like it would be blowing air out of the case. When I get my other fans...that would be placed in the "in spots" do I reverse them so they are blowing in the case?

Thanks for the help...I know it is a dumb question...just want to get the most cooling out of the fans.

Basic rule of thumb is for fans in the front of your case to be blowing in, fans at the back of your case to blow out. fans mounted on the side, you also want to blow air out.

The purpose is to get airflow over the components inside your PC.

Hope this helps.
