Strange things with my video card

i have dled the newest drivers, but in the past i had problems with the latest ati drivers, so i went back to 3.9, but i'll try it again and see what happens.

Now i remember why I hare ATI newest catalyst drivers

I cant have smooth scrolling or with anything, moving a window around, its all choppy!

Also I tred a test in bf1842dc and i recieve an error stating the following:

VPU Recover has restet your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands.

This just pisses me off, I need something to work and fix all of these problems. When I try to move a window around my screen, my cpu useage shoots up to 100%, when it would have been below 5%. Now I am going to uninstall this crap from ATI

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying omega drivers for ati, does any one else have any idea? or is my card fried, and in need of a new one?
