Default step up program?

i have heard alot about it on this forum but never used it. how does it work, you buy a card with it and when a newer card comes out you can return the one you have and put the money towards the new one? one thing i know is only evga offers it.

Hey I noticed in your sig that you want the 8800 gt just pick that up and then when the 9800 comes out just use your step up thats not a bad idea.

I dunno if it will be but at least that way you would have the 8800 gt and we all know that it is a rather nice card.
