i have all carpet flooring everywhere (except kitchen and bathroom) i plan to build a computer in the near future, should i work on the carpet or on a desk, is it ok to ground myself on the case with the antistatic bracelet?

bracelet, how cute lol.. iono about all that.. building it on the carpet is fine, don't rub the case around, if you have a rubber matt that would be best, and ground yourself by holding the case and touching the screw that holds the plate on the electrical outlets in your house and you'll be grounded..
