Default starting from scratch

hi everybody out there.

well although i can work on a computer, make, save & edit files. and can also browse the net, but i don't have basic knowledge about computers. i don't know anything about the hardware & software programmes.

please help me understand computers. first of all i wanna know about the invention of computers. where, when, how & why were they invented ?

Well here's a book that explains that ALL. Most people on this forum dont know anything on the history of PC's beyond 486 though

Pick up Upgrading and Reparing PC's 16th edition, best PC book that explains everything even though the title is misleading
