So I have a quick question to ask in general about game loading times and the corellation between their physical size, and the read times on my two SSDs in raid 0.
I have over 1 gigabyte per second read times using atto benchmark and 350 mb per second using crystal.
So, why is it a game like league of legends, takes more than 7 seconds to load? I should be able to load every single byte of information from the game in 7 seconds or less if the atto benchmark is more accurate.
Or a game like Crysis.. why can't the entire game be loaded and stored in my RAM within 15 seconds or so? I have 16 GB of RAM so that would be possible.
Basically what I'm asking is, why do games take longer to load when my read times are so insanely fast? They don't seem to sync up.
