Default Sound Card?

I am looking for a sound card that supports 4.1 and up. I dont need anything super nice right now. Does anyone know one they would reccomend? I was looking at the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Gamer. Also are there only certain sound cards that are compatible with certain computers? Check my signature to see what I have if needed. Thanks.

I'd just get a Audigy 2, the ZS Gamer is rather highend and about $40 more

So will both the sound cards mentioned above support 4.1 also?
