Default Sound Blaster Live! 24-Bit and EAX 4.0

Does my sound blaster live! 24-Bit support EAX 4.0? I think it does because its 24-bit and it has EAX advanced HD, but I just want to make sure, and where can I get the newest drivers for it? I went to the creative website, and they have no drivers listed whatsoever.

I'd say "No" myself, but use the software autoupdate feature on the site, if you can (I'm having problems with it at the mo). You'll know then instantly if you can use the EAX 4.O driver.

Only higher end Audigy cards have EAX4. The Live! 24bit is only an updated version of the 5.1 and supports EAX3 (advanced HD)

The Live! 24-bit does NOT support EAX 4.0.

You need at least an Audigy 2 to support EAX 4.0.

Yeah, the X-FI series.
It's like having 24 Audigy 2 chips on one card.
Read all about it here...

you should already be using EAX4 if you have an Audigy2 ZS. On the drivers, DL them from the computer that does have internet and just burn them to CD.
