Sony laptop surprise shut down

My sony viao PCG R505DL 12' worked fine for 2 years. now after 45 minutes of running it just switches off. no warning no low batterry. it just goes off.

If you switch it on it works fine but goes off again in some time.

please suggest what to do as the system is not in warranty and no authorised sony dealers in India

Does this happen whenever the laptop is unplugged?

It could be a few things, check your power settings and make sure it is setup the way you'd like it to work.

And second, it is possible your battery is loosing its charge, if this is the case, you would have to purchase a replacement.


Also, this post would get a quicker response if it were made in the right location.. maybe the hardware forum.
