You need to be careful with wireless networks. They're not very secure coming straight out of the box. It's not hard to secure them, but most people don't take the time to do it.
IEEE also came out with two new network types. A and G, which supposedly can transfer up to 54 Mbps. A works in the 5 Ghz, and G is 2.4 Ghz.
FunkyMunky, are the two pc's desktops or laptops? If either one is a laptop, wireless is great, but if they're both desktops, I would run cable to them.
